1974

Origin

Hermanos Tamarit has its origin in 1974 in Valencia (Spain) with the creation of the company “Hermanos Tamarit Furió S.A“.

1978

Industrial plant

In 1978 the factory for the production of wood veneers was inaugurated and the experience in the African continent in search of the raw material began.

1987

Export period

In the 80s, Hermanos Tamarit began to export its products abroad.

1998

Establishment in Africa

In 1998 it was implanted in Africa in partnership with other Spanish companies from the Sector and in 2008 a new plant was put into operation on the African continent. Thereby controlling the supply from the origin.

2001

Establishment in China

In 2001 the company landed in China with the start-up of a factory in Linyi for the production of rotary veneer and pre-composite veneer.

 In 2016 the Company renews its commercial image with the name: “Tamarit Veneer”

Logistics warehouses with more than 8.000 m3 of permanent stock, from where we supervise and serve our veneer to the five Continents.

Guinea & Gabon África

Installed and manufacturing since 2007 , with more than 30 year of experience in the African Continent.

Linyi, China

Installed and manufacturing since 2004, working with different species according to market demands such as Pine, Birch, Maple, Walnut, Sapeli, Okoume, and especially with Engineering Veneer.

 

Certifications

We work for sustainability, complying with environmental regulations and with EUTR and FSC certifications through what is called “chain of custody”.

The Chain of Custody of forest products is defined as the monitoring of forest products (veneer, wood, paper, cork, bark, resins …) during the different phases of the production process and their subsequent commercialization, in order to ensure traceability of forest products from the final consumer to the forest. Ask about our FSC® certified products.
